We are always looking to connect with individuals who have a passion for theatre and would like to get involved more directly.
Broadway and West End shows are like any start-up enterprise: someone has an idea for a project, then looks to raise funds to make it a reality. Investors are provided with a budget and recoupment schedules outlining anticipated returns for the show.
Once the commercial run of a show opens, any profits made are use to pay back investors their capital.
Upon full re-payment of the investments, any additional profits are split between the producers and investors.
Most productions will offer benefits to investors in exchange for their support of the show. Examples include access to house seats, exclusive access to rehearsals, cast and creative meet-and-greets and invitations to the opening night performance and party.
For full-scale Broadway Productions, the investment can range between $25,000-$50,000; however, there are often opportunities with a lower entry point and shows that are willing to let investors share/split an investment.
You can never lose more than you invest in a show – your agreement with the production is only for the amount you initially invest. If a show chooses to do an additional capital raise, you will be invited to participate but still have every right to decline.
For projects produced by bpmTheatrical, we are always willing to collaborate with enthusiastic contacts to find an opportunity for them to be involved without a financial barrier.
